Ravens open scoring on pick-six vs. Deshaun Watson, Browns
BALTIMORE — Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. delivered the latest big play for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
In the third quarter, Beckham took a short slant and ran for a 40-yard touchdown to put Baltimore ahead 24-9. He now has 16 career touchdown catches of 40 yards or more since he debuted in 2014, behind Tyreek Hill (29) and DeSean Jackson (19). It marked Beckham’s longest TD catch since Week 12 of 2021, when he had a 54-yard touchdown catch when he was with the Rams.

This was Beckham’s second touchdown of the season for the Ravens. He had a 6-yard touchdown catch against the Seattle Seahawks a week ago. It was his longest TD since a 54-yarder against the Packers in Week 12 of 2021. Beckham missed last season with a torn ACL.
Baltimore took control of this AFC North showdown with splash plays.
On the second play of the game, a blitzing Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton deflected a Deshaun Watson pass and returned the interception 18 yards for the touchdown. It was the first career touchdown and second interception for Hamilton, the No. 14 overall pick of the 2022 draft.

This also ended Baltimore’s streak of 27 games without a defensive touchdown, the longest active one in the NFL. The last Ravens defensive touchdown came in Week 17 of the 2021 season, when safety Chuck Clark had a pick-six against the Los Angeles Rams.
It was an all-to-familiar moment for Cleveland. This marked Watson’s second interception that was returned for a touchdown in two games with the Browns.
On the Ravens’ opening drive, undrafted rookie running back Keaton Mitchell outran the Browns defense for a 39-yard touchdown. This comes one week after Mitchell scored on a 40-yard touchdown run.
