Fifth Measles Case Confirmed In Broward School – iHeart
A Broward County school is dealing with yet another case of measles. After four cases confirmed last week, the school district has now confirmed a fifth case of measles at Weston’s Manatee Bay Elementary School.
A district spokesman says the school underwent a deep cleaning over the weekend, and new air filters were installed. Measles is a very contagious infection that causes a total-body skin rash and flu-like symptoms.
