A business class passenger on a flight from Dubai was wrestled to the ground and restrained with zip ties after headbutting a flight attendant.
The man, who is said to have been drunk at the time, was filmed squaring up to the male cabin crew member in full view of his fellow passengers.
As the Emirates worker holds him back by his shoulder, the man launches forward with his forehead.
He is immediately pushed to the floor, and a female staff member can be seen pulling a bunch of cable ties from a bag before handing them to her waistcoat-wearing colleague.
The passenger was taking the three-hour flight between Dubai and Islamabad, Pakistan, on Saturday.
He was reportedly given multiple warnings by the onboard team as he began ‘causing a disturbance’ and frightening passengers.
Later, he is said to have quickly become ‘extremely violent’.

Footage taken after the arrival of the flight in the Pakistani capital shows the man slumped in a wheelchair as he is handed to authorities.
A man can be heard shouting after him: ‘Drink some water.’
An Emirates spokesperson said: ‘Emirates can confirm that there was an unruly passenger on flight EK614 travelling from Dubai to Islamabad on 24 February.
‘The passenger was restrained by cabin crew and upon arrival, was handed over to the authorities.
‘The safety of our passengers and crew is of critical importance and Emirates strives to ensure this is never compromised.
‘Emirates is cooperating with the authorities at this time and cannot comment further.’
