A weird UFO filmed by a drone in Ukraine, video of a goblin doll seemingly moving its face, and a beloved owl that mysteriously vanished in England were among the weird and wondrous stories to cross our desk this past week.
A beloved owl in England found itself at the center of a weird mystery this past week after it inexplicably vanished from its enclosure at London’s Wimbledon and Putney Commons park. Brought to the site as a chick nearly thirty years ago, the bird’s disappearance understandably alarmed its caretakers as they contend that it is unlikely to have left its longtime home and there were no signs of an animal attack that could account for the owl going missing. As such, they believe that the bird was stolen by some sticky-fingered ne’er-do-wells who brazenly entered its enclosure and snatched the creature.

This past week saw a rather compelling UFO video emerge out of Ukraine by way of a reconnaissance drone keeping an eye out for Russian adversaries. In the footage, the soldiers manning the device can be heard marveling at a sizeable disc-shaped object hovering in the sky around 30 miles away from the UAV. While one observer quickly declared that it was a UFO, others simply expressed mystification at the bewildering sight and wondered why the perceived craft was not engaging their drone. As for what the object might have been, suggestions from viewers online included some kind of clandestine terrestrial aircraft, a meteorological phenomenon, and, of course, aliens.

By far the most bizarre story of the week occurred in Bolivia, where a doll depicting a goblin was filmed seemingly moving its face. The eerie footage prompted paranormal investigators to descend upon the home where the figurine ‘lives’ in the hopes of getting to the bottom of the strange incident. Chillingly, when one of the researchers observed the doll with a night vision camera, it detected an eerie anomaly resembling a face hovering behind the clay goblin. Providing an additional layer of strangeness to the story, the creator of the figurine told a local media outlet that he was not surprised by the incident as he actually brings his pieces to an enchanted forest before selling them so that they can be imbued with the spirit of elemental beings that reside there.
