Men's NCAA tournament: Live updates, analysis as March Madness begins

That didn’t take long.

After Kentucky’s loss — and losses by Mississippi State and BYU — 99.9% of the 22.1 million brackets filled out as part of ESPN’s Tournament Challenge have at least one loss.

And that number will fall even more before Thursday night is over. Of the 12,833 perfect brackets left, about half took Texas Tech and half took N.C. State, who play later on.
