How to bet the women's NCAA tournament games on Sunday

The first two days of play brought plenty of excitement in the women’s NCAA tournament. So which games and bets should bettors watch for on Sunday?

Our experts Charlie Creme and Mackenzie Kraemer provide their take.

Middle Tennessee-LSU under 141.5, 3 p.m. Middle Tennessee will want to slow this game to as much of a crawl as it can. If LSU is as sloppy with the ball as it was against Rice, Middle Tennessee can keep this game low-scoring enough to stay under. -Kraemer

Nebraska +7.5 vs Oregon State, 4 p.m. These teams are more evenly matched than this spread indicates. Nebraska played its best ball down the stretch and survived a tough test against Texas A&M in the 1st round. Jaz Shelley and company should be able to keep this close. -Kraemer

Texas -14.5 vs Alabama, 6 p.m. Few programs scheme for an opponent on short notice than Vic Schaefer and his staff. The Longhorns will be able to take away all of Alabama’s best scoring options. -Creme

Baylor +3.5 at Virginia Tech, 8 p.m. This is where the Elizabeth Kitley absence bites the Hokies. Virginia Tech looked great against Marshall, but this is a much tougher test. -Kraemer

Baylor Moneyline (+125) vs. Virginia Tech, 8 p.m. The 92 points the Hokies scored in round one inflated this line. They are still without Kitley and Baylor is a massive upgrade in competition from Marshall. -Creme

Stanford-Iowa State under 141.5, 10 p.m. Tara VanDerveer took JuJu Watkins‘s impact out of a game. With the length she has at her disposal she will be able to do the same with Audi Crooks. The Cyclones’ offense will look entirely different against the Cardinal than it did Friday against Maryland. -Creme
