Krusty Krab, Dunder Mifflin among popular fictional businesses – Asbury Park Press

When it comes to fictional businesses, the top one is proven to be unreliable.
Research conducted by QR Code Generator QRFY analyzed nationwide Google search volumes to determine the most popular fictional business from film, video games, and TV, and the winner was ACME Corporation.
The company is known for selling defective products to Wile E. Coyote, and it’s why he’s been unsuccessful in his quest for having a Roadrunner dinner.
While ACME Corp. had 363,667 searches on average per month, a good number of them were probably a coyote looking for recalls or ways to get money back. Not sure how much a slingshot costs these days, but in today’s economy, they can’t be cheap for a single coyote.
The second-most searched fictional company is “Bubba Gump,” from the movie Forrest Gump. Gump put a lot of work into this company, proving that shrimping ain’t easy. This company gets 91.583 searches per month.
Next up on the list is Omni Consumer Products. The third-most searched company is from RoboCop, and gets 61,167 searchs per month.
Rounding out the top 10 are Los Pollos Hermanos (Breaking Bad), Krusty Krab (SpongeBob SquarePants), Pizza Planet (Toy Story), Umbrella Corp (Resident Evil), Cheers (Cheers), Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. (The Office), and Central Perk (Friends).
““It is interesting to see which fictional businesses are most on the public’s minds, with the Looney Tunes ACME Corporation being the most searched business,” a spokesperson from QR Code Generator QRFY said. “Surprisingly, the popular café Central Perk from Friends is the tenth most popular business.”
