Bloke shows off his gravy pizza – but people say he 'belongs in prison' – The Mirror

The internet has been left shocked after seeing a picture of a bloke’s gravy-covered pizza. It’s fair to say the Italians won’t be impressed with this culinary creation
Most people enjoy tucking into a pizza now and then.
They're cheesy, full of tomato and often topped with delicious extras from meat to vegetables. Well, at least that's what you'd normally expect to see when you tuck into one. Sadly, this wasn't the case for one bloke who whipped up a dish with an "acquired taste". He shared a snap of the so-called pizza on Reddit and it's left people utterly confused.
The picture appeared to show a doughy base, as you'd expect, but the toppings were totally bonkers. There was no tomato sauce, as it appeared to be swamped with gravy, and the toppings were weird and wonderful too.
From baked beans to peas to what looked like little fried potatoes (or something similar), it really was a pizza like you'd never seen before. It's clear why the dish got so many people talking. People said it seems to get "worse" the longer you look at it, and they just can't believe what their eyes were seeing. In their defence though, it didn't look appetising in the slightest.
This is one take on pizza that you probably don't want to show to any of your Italian friends. They definitely won't be left too impressed.

One person said: "So is prison. You should be there." Another replied: "'Acquired'. Sure, just like an STD in the mouth." A third replied: "Seek help." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I'm calling the FBI. You're obviously too deranged to be in a society."
It's fair to say the culinary creation didn't really go down well with anyone, with some claiming he should never be allowed to cook again. One even went as far as to say it made them "want to hurl".
A social media user quipped: "You just accomplished the impossible and made American School Pizza Lunches absolutely appealing." Another chimed in with: "That's just British cuisine." One more added: "You can acquire my balls for posting this abomination."
It's not the only pizza to have made the news lately, perhaps rather worryingly. Earlier this month, the internet fumed after a holiday-goer shared a snap of their food online. He had a shock when he visited fancy ski resort Aspen, in the US, and ordered some food to go. He shared a picture of the meal on Reddit, which looked a little burnt and over-cheesy, and it wasn't cheap either.
Alongside the snap, he wrote: "Anyone wanna guess how much two 10'' pizzas delivered in Aspen cost?" And it really gave social media users some food for thought.
More than 700 people have been chatting about the foodie conundrum, and people couldn't get over how much it cost.
Putting readers out of their misery, the man revealed the price, stating: "Okay y'all. Here's the deal. $91.66 USD including tip. The kicker was getting a text after the order that said Credit cards are authorised for a margin above the total, and will be settled accurately at the close of business.
"Checking my bank account, I was charged $137.66. No picture of the other pizza but it was, obviously not good either."
