Inside 'weird' Covid theme park with 'human-sized pathogen' and vaccine attack – Daily Star

A strange location in Vietnam has popped up a theme park centred around Covid-19 and the fight taken by the Government and the people against the deadly virus, complete with model pathogens
A British traveller was shocked when she stumbled upon a strange theme park that featured several references to Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdowns.
Ella Ribak, 29, found the unexpected location in Vietnam. She was travelling the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Complex in Da Lat while visiting south-east Asia. There, she found several themed zones one of which was called the 'Covid 19 Park'. Upon entering, Ella found several strange structures, including a timeline clock and pathogen sculptures in jail.
The tourist got out her phone to capture in interesting décor. In the video, a timeline clock and pathogens being stabbed by a vaccine syringe can be seen around the area.

Ella, a director for commercials based in Finsbury Park, north London, said: "It was such a weird experience. Me and the other travellers couldn't stop laughing and we kept looking around to see if any Vietnamese people found it funny as well, but they all seemed pretty serious.
"The clock at the start made it all feel pretty dystopian, and the fact all the sculptures were shrouded in trees. But then when you turned a corner and saw a human-size pathogen with googly eyes on it locked in a jail, it just becomes funny."

It is not clear whether the attraction is still open in 2024, due to Ella making the trip back in 2022, following two years of the virus. She added: "It was really strange trying to figure out how serious the park was.
"Obviously it touches on a sensitive topic for some people, but the clay sculptures seemed so jokey that it's hard to tell. Ultimately we had a great time, even if we didn't take it as it was meant."
There are 80 unique sculptures at the Covid-19 Park in Da Lay, and each one is said to represent the first outbreak in 2019 and onwards. In particular, they tell the story of the fight against the Covid-19 by the Vietnamese Government and people.
The park was created by Trinh Ba Dung, general director of the Sculpture Tunnel Tourist Site, which also tells the story of Da Lat's history with a series of clay sculptures under a 1.2km long tunnel.
