New Jersey couple recall 'bizarre' moment they saw 25 drones in night sky – The Mirror US
Recent headlines have buzzed with reports of an unusual number of drones spotted along the East Coast and in California. But for one New Jersey couple, it became all too real when they witnessed nearly 25 drones near their home.
Mike Thatcher and his wife Jodi, who live on a farm in Middletown, about 60 miles from Trenton, exclusively told The Mirror U.S. that they spotted the drones one night while they were taking the trash out. "I went out, I think to take the trash out or something and then I just went out and I saw some things up in the sky and I was like 'Hey wait a minute there they are!'"
"So I went out there and then all of a sudden I started looking around and I started counting and there's like 20 to 25," Thatcher continued adding that the drones were "going in different directions" while some were just "hovering."
Pentagon finally addresses mysterious drones over New Jersey amid escalating fears
"It was just bizarre," he said. According to the couple, they managed to capture a video of all the flying apparatuses around their home. It was then that Mike ran inside to get his wife to show her the odd phenomenon.
"So he came in to get me and he's like, 'Wait a minute, come here,'" Jodi said recalling that she was unsure why her husband was dragging her outside on a cold December night. Once stepping into the chilly evening, the source of her husband's shock became apparent.
"I'm like, 'Oh my God, this is so bizarre'," she said. "This is freaking me out a little. And I'm not like a nervous person, but it was just so unnerving." According to the couple, the drones were "all over" the place with some hovering over Naval Weapons Station Earle.
Thatcher told The Mirror U.S. that he was aware that many people suspected that the drones were watching various government installations, however, the man said that the ones around his home had a more randomized flight path.
"I had a drone for a long time and I flew it and I had the nighttime approval to fly at night and so I know what they look like and I know how they move," he said. According to Jodi, the presence of the drones lasted for long time.
"These were definitely not airplanes," Jodi chimed in. "They were fast. They would go up, they'd go down, they'd go sideways." The Thatchers hypothesized that their home was surrounded by the automata due to the fact that they live very close to Governor Phil Murphy.
The drones have been a persistent source of fear among residents of the affected areas as many conspiracy theories have taken hold. One such theory is that the drones were actually from a foreign power, however, the Pentagon later disproved it. Another popular conspiracy theory is that the drones are the vanguard of Project Blue Beam.
The theory, which was first adopted in 1994 by Quebec native Serge Monast, states that the global elite will use a fake alien invasion to incite panic and discord. After faking the invasion, the elite would use the ensuing panic to create a totalitarian government.
