While officials have tried to quell fears that they pose no threat to national security, the lack of identification has continued to spark wild theories. Some claim they are hunting for “nuclear warheads” while others suggest they could belong to foreign superpowers.
But, chillingly, some observers have claimed the wave of sightings are just the beginning – with something big coming within the next few weeks.
Dr. Steven Greer, who has become one of the leading lights of the UFO community, claimed that the mysterious lights being seen in the light sky all over the world are part of a staged operation to fool the public into believing that an alien invasion is under way.
Speaking to Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty, Dr Greer explained that the crisis is expected to escalate “in the next 30 days or so”.
He said that the apparent “alien invasion” is a smokescreen to conceal the real truth about extraterrestrial encounters, which he claims have been taking place for several decades. Alien technology has been passed in to the hands of US weapons manufacturers, and they’ve launched an operation to conceal the conspiracy.
He claims: “We have a team of about six different black sites that have been running illegal projects related to so-called UAPs and UFOs.
“Coming forward in the next 30 days or so, they will bring forth positive evidence of this and the fact that these programs have been run illegally and outside of constitutional oversight.”

It’s a very bold claim, but it coincides with several other pundits’ prediction that early 2025 would see a major change in the way the public is told about UFOs.
Ross Coulthart, who has become the face of the “UFO disclosure” movement in recent years, promises that “all hell is going to break loose” in early 2025. This year, he says, will in retrospect be seen as “the calm before the storm”.
There’s still no accepted explanation of what the mystery drones are. The US government has admitted that officials have no idea who is flying the alleged drones, but still insists that there is no danger involved.
With incoming president Donald Trump also announcing that the US government has detailed knowledge of the drones crisis, it’s a certainly that – whatever the true explanation of the ‘drone flap’ might be – early 2025 will be a very interesting time to be alive.
