South Carolina mom claims shy baby 'flipped the bird' at camera in the womb as he refused pictures – The Mirror US
A South Carolina mother claimed her baby was so shy in the womb, he even flipped off the camera when she went in for a scan one time.
The laughable moment was captured on video when Emily Williams, 31, attended her 18-week scan as her husband, Darrius, 33, watched on via video call.
Emily, a mother of three from Ruby, South Carolina, claimed it was incredibly difficult to get baby Cameron Williams to cooperate during her scan appointments, stating that he would often cover his face with his hands in the womb.

That fateful day, on May 9, 2024, Emily went in for a much-anticipated 3D scan appointment, hoping that she'd finally be able to see her unborn baby's face in full view for the first time.
The appointment proved to be a hilarious nightmare. When the mother's sonographer attempted to show Emily her son's face, he kept turning away, Emily told Kennedy News and Media, so the sonographer resorted to "moving around and shaking" her belly as they attempted to acquire a full view of Cameron's face.
As the sonographer did, Emily said she immediately "cracked up" and nearly "died laughing," because Cameron suddenly appeared to "flip the bird" to the scan camera.

Images the mother posted to social media show Cameron showing the sonography camera his middle finger, which she explained was foreshadowing for his personality outside the womb — he's just as feisty as Darrius' grandmother had been, Emily said.
"I cracked up. My mom was with me and my husband was on FaceTime because he had to work," Emily told Kennedy News Media. "We both just died laughing because it reminded us exactly of Darrius' grandmother. She's passed away now, but that's exactly how feisty she was. She'd flip off somebody in a heartbeat."
Emily said Cameron even now loves to sleep and that he enjoys putting his hands in front of his face, even when he's awake. "He shows a bunch of expressions," she said. "He'll scowl. He'll smile. You know what his emotion is before he even cries."

Outside the womb, however, Cameron is much more cooperative when it comes to pictures, Emily said. "The photos have gotten better," she said, "especially now he's not all squished up in the belly anymore."
Emily said she shared the image of Cameron flipping off the camera in the womb to Facebook to give everyone "a good little chuckle."
The post garnered many reactions, including crying laughing emojis. One user reportedly commented, "That baby's got a sense of humor already huh? Lol." Others who know Emily personally commented that Cameron was definitely her child.
"I know some people think it's vulgar, but I just thought it was hilarious and lighthearted," Emily said of the post.
Cameron was born on Sept. 25 and weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. He's now the youngest of three, joining sisters Blakelei Worsnop, 8, and Arianna Williams, 6.
