Gigi Hadid Posted a Rare, Telling Comment About Dating Amid Leonardo DiCaprio and Irina Shayk Rumors

Gigi Hadid isn’t the type to post about her dating life on Instagram, but she made an exception yesterday as her rumored love interest Leonardo DiCaprio’s time spent at Coachella with Irina Shayk made headlines. Hadid reposted an Instagram post featuring dating advice from 87-year-old June. It was one brutal word: “Don’t.” Hadid added no additional comment of her own to it.

The timing is curious, given Shayk and DiCaprio were photographed very close to each other at Coachella last weekend. Though sources shut down dating rumors to E! and TMZ yesterday afternoon.

A source told E!, “They were amongst a large group of people at a festival, all hanging out. They are just friends.” Multiple sources with direct knowledge told TMZ the same thing: Shayk and DiCaprio are just pals who met through mutual friends. The TMZ sources claimed that despite the pics of them appearing quite close during the night, there weren’t any “cozy vibes” between them in reality.

Hadid and DiCaprio have kept their reported romance, which first started in September, as private as possible. The last update on their relationship came out in early April. A source told Entertainment Tonight on April 3 that Hadid and DiCaprio were still involved.

Gigi and Leo still hang out and talk when it works with their timing,” the source said. “They both enjoy each other’s company and have fun together when their busy schedules permit.”

The source added that Hadid’s family approves of the romance. “Yolanda and Bella know Gigi is capable of making her own healthy decisions and they’re supportive of her,” the source said. “Gigi’s main priority is her baby girl. Her daughter is always top of mind and at the forefront of everything in her life.”
