No, Irina Shayk Did Not ‘Throw Herself’ at Tom Brady

Whom among us (with the exception of these four women) is throwing ourselves at Tom Brady? In this economy? Not Irina Shayk.

After a source told Page Six that the model made a “beeline” for the now-single NFL player at a mutual friend’s wedding last week, a rep for Shayk blatantly denied the report. Again.

“This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the evening,” Cheri Bowen, vice president of The Society Management, told The Daily Mail. She gave the same statement to Page Six at the time of the original report.

Shayk and Brady were attending the wedding of art heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia when the speculation began. Other A-list attendees included Leonardo DiCaprio and Serena and Venus Williams. An insider alleged to Page Six that Shayk “followed [Brady] around all weekend” and that she was “throwing herself at him,” but the two aren’t anything more than friends. A source told The Daily Mail soon after that Shayk and Brady “have a purely platonic relationship.”

Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce in October after 16 years of marriage. They share three kids, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian. Meanwhile, Shayk split with longtime partner Bradley Cooper in 2019, but they continue to amicably co-parent their daughter, Lea De Seine.

As the rumor mill continues churning, Shayk remains unfazed by other people’s opinions. She told Harper’s Bazaar this year, “We don’t have a nanny, so between trying to run my career, cook, clean, dress my daughter, bring her to school, and do all the mom stuff, I have no time for people’s opinions. Why on earth would I click and read 2,000 comments? I kind of don’t rely on it. I have my friends, my family. They love me, and I know who I am. I don’t give many, many S-H-I…you know this word, what people really think about me.”
