Hailey Bieber Liked Selena Gomez’s Latest Instagram Post and Told Her Fans to Stop ‘Leaving Mean’ Comments

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have moved on from their drama, and they would like all their fans to move on, too. Last night, Bieber posted a statement on her Instagram Story imploring her followers to not post any “mean or rude comments on my behalf on anyone else’s posts.” Her post comes after Gomez was body-shamed on her recent Instagram.

In an additional show of peace, Bieber liked the post on which Gomez was receiving hateful comments. In it, Gomez smiles at the camera, wearing a Dior sweater and cream tulle skirt.

Bieber asked her fans to stop harassing people, once and for all, in her full statement. She wrote:

If you’re leaving mean or rude comments on my behalf on anyone’s posts just know that I don’t want that, nor do I ever or will I ever support or condone hateful, mean, or nasty comments. Doing that is not supporting me..

If you are participating in that, you are a part of a culture that I want no part of.

Please be nice or don’t say anything

Gomez, for her part, has ignored the drama. She teased instead that she is working on new music from Paris today. “don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris. 😉” she wrote.

Gomez has defended Bieber before though.

She posted a similar message to her own fans in the spring, when Bieber was receiving hate on TikTok over her history with Gomez. Gomez wrote, “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop. ♥️”
