Bride makes mortifying mistake as she thinks dress looks 'nothing like order' – The Mirror
One bride was in stitches after she realised she’d made a mortifying mistake in trying on her wedding dress – and the wedding shop quickly put her in her place
Hunting for a wedding dress can be incredibly stressful. There's a lot of pressure put on brides to look perfect on their special day, spending an extensive amount of money on a white dress they'll only wear once. So you can imagine in a highly tense situation it can be easy to make mistakes.
One soon-to-be bride was left mortified when she made an angry complaint to the shop she'd purchased her dress from, telling them it looked "nothing like" the one she had ordered. Demanding a refund and feeling frustrated she would have to start her hunt for the perfect dress all over again – only to be told she'd made an embarrassing blunder.
She attached photos of the dress she picked out on a mannequin, with a frilly fishtail design, as well as a comparison picture of how the dress looked on her. Stating that many details that she had originally loved were missing on her dress. However, the response from the shop left her mortified. They replied and simply pointed out: "Hi, you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way."
Sharing the hilarious mistake on Facebook in 2021, the bride had to laugh at her blunder. She wrote: "Two weeks ago my wedding dress came in. I was really upset about the looks of it and sent an angry email to the company wanting to return it", she wrote.
"I took pictures of me in the dress telling them it looked nothing like what I had ordered. Well, today I received this response from the company 'You put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way'. Who knew that they shipped wedding dresses inside out?… the dress actually turned out beautiful. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much school we put behind us….we're still going to lack common sense, like how to put clothes on properly."
