A driver was surprised to see a man clinging to the hood of a nearby moving car on I-95 in Miami in June 2018.
Officials said the man on the hood called police and said: “My life is actually in danger. I’m on the roof of my car, someone is driving.”
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Patresha Isidore, was arrested after the incident. It’s unclear if she knew the man on the hood.  
Crystal Methvin was arrested after police said they discovered crystal meth in her purse.
She was taken into custody in May 2018 after the St. Augustine Police Department responded to reports of a woman sitting in a car on the side of a highway and discovered the purse with the meth in her car.

Police in the Florida Keys found roughly 300 grams of cocaine inside a Cookie Monster toy in a car they were searching in July 2017.
A man was caught on video defecating in a jewelry store parking lot in August 2017. Facebook wits labeled him “Crapperman.”
“It’s just downright shameful when people don’t give a crap about their town,” Crestview Police Chief Tony Taylor quipped. “It really stinks.”
Car-theft suspect Jocsan Feliciano Rosado made a big mistake while on the lam: stopping to watch the August 2017 solar eclipse.
Rosado was captured while staring at the sky. “He never saw it coming,” police said.
Sounds of a couple having sex in an apartment near a Sarasota arena were so loud that tennis players stopped mid-match in April 2017.
“It can’t be that good,” one of the players yelled.
Two Volusia County men allegedly broke into a home of a man they both dated, stealing from him and leaving spaghetti sauce boiling on the stove in an apparent attempt to start a fire, authorities say.
The men, John Silva and Derrick Irving, were charged with unarmed burglary, grand theft and arson in March 2018.
The victim told CBS Orlando affiliate WKMG-TV that Irving was wearing a bull costume when he broke into the home.
When temperatures dipped below 40 degrees in January 2018, it seemed like it was raining iguanas.
Really, they were just stunned by the cold and falling from trees. Wildlife officials said the iguanas weren’t dead.
Mathew Horace Jones allegedly used a forklift to wreak more than $100,000 in damage to a Florida liquor store in August 2017.
According to police, Jones said his name was Alice Wonderland and that he was compelled by a “hookah-smoking caterpillar” to cause the damage.
A 73-year-old man was banned from a Volusia County beach in August 2017 after allegedly handing out cards that read, “Sugardaddy seeking his sugarbaby.”
Richard Basaraba said he “engaged (a younger girl) before I knew she was 16 because of her bust size.”
A man stopped for sex before stealing a $1,200 trailer in August 2017, Broward County police said.
He was caught on video partaking in “some adult behavior with a companion” before the theft, authorities said.
A man in Port St. Lucie was caught on video pulling the plug on a children’s bounce house during a May 2017 birthday party.
Two kids were reportedly hospitalized as a result of the collapse.

Park visitors reported to police that Rocco Joseph Mantella was kicking swans and a duck “as hard as possible,” according to the Associated Press. 
Mantella was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals.
Michael Oleksik faced charges in December 2017 after allegedly damaging an ATM because it “was giving him too much money and he did not know what to do.”
David Blackmon allegedly told police that $50 and about a quarter-ounce of cocaine had been stolen from his car.
Blackmon identified himself as a drug dealer when he reported the theft in July 2017, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
When Austin Adair heard a thump on his Fort Lauderdale roof in July, he thought it was thunder. Instead, he found two bundles of frozen pork next to the home and three on the roof.
Adair suspected the 15 pounds of mystery meat fell from a plane.

Edward Quinton told authorities he took the forklift because he had lost his keys and needed something to drive.
Authorities in Hialeah said a man fired as many as 18 shots into two AT&T work trucks in July because they were blocking his driveway. The man confessed to firing at the trucks.
