There is always a lot of strange and weird news in the world, with unusual sightings, bitter rows and odd observations – here we bring them all together for you
Today – like most days – there is a lot of negative news in world, and keeping up-to-date with the latest headlines can be an upsetting read.
So while it's important to know what's going on, sometimes you need a little break to focus on something a bit weird and wonderful.
Whether it's grandparents driving 86 miles with snow in back of truck to surprise their great-grandbaby, a parking row that's divided the internet or a baffling brain teaser that's leaving everyone scratching their heads – there is something to suit whatever your mood.

You often get a bit of drama at weddings, with guests having a few too many glasses of champagne and making questionable choices.
But this story might take the crown for biggest wedding drama. It sounds like the nightmare started way before the big day, with rows over £1,500 bridesmaid dresses and guestlists.
But despite the lead up chaos, nobody was prepared for what happened next. The bridesmaid took to Reddit to share the story. She writes: “It had to be about five minutes before the start of the wedding when the maid-of-honour came over to tell me the wedding was cancelled. I asked her what happened." She then revealed that the bride-to-be was caught by her husband-to-be having a 'quickie' – with his uncle.
She then revealed the maid-of-honour told her to run: “She said that she was trying to get as many people out before things exploded. So I quickly got my purse, gathered the two bridesmaids who were carpooling with me, and we left like the devil was after us. I checked with the other bridesmaids and all had escaped.”

Grandparents will always go above and beyond for their grandkids, but this couple have gone further than most – 86 miles to be exact.
A couple drove 86 miles with snow in the back of their truck to show it to their great-grandchild Carter for the first time. Russ Furse and Carol Nelson filled their pickup truck and drove almost two hours so the tot could see snow for the first time.
The said: "The baby had never seen the snow before and they were coming to visit us anyways so they brought it down for all the kids to play." Carter, then one, and his siblings Jacob and Adam Chavers, then 10 and nine, had a blast.
Jesse added: "All the kids absolutely loved it. They all were playing snowball fight, running around we even built a mini snowman. Carter was feeling the snow and was amazed by it. He was laughing and ended up even throwing a little snowball at his big brothers."

Of course, no weird news blog is complete if you don't learn something you've been doing wrong – and this time it's moisturiser.
DermatologistDr Adel, shared her skincare advice on TikTok and even warned that applying moisturiser wrong can cause unwanted skin conditions. She starts by saying you should apply it to damp skin as "this will help the skin absorb it so much better. Apply your moisturiser within five minutes of coming out of the shower to damp skin, not dry skin."
Hr second piece of advice is to apply in the direction your hair grows to avoid "plugging your hair follicles".
She then says: "Do not dip your finger into the pot. This introduces bacteria from your skin into the whole pot, which you then spread across your whole body. You definitely don't want to do that especially if you haveeczema or acne because it can make it worse."
The doctor then advised to use a "clean spoon or spatula" which she said would "basically detangle the moisturiser out before applying it onto your skin."

Coming up with a unique proposal is tricky, as it feels like all the 'out there' gestures have been done to death.
But what do you think of this one? Joe Murray proposed to his girlfriend with a thigh tattoo and asked for her hand in marriage with his jeans around his ankles. The barber from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, said he was inspired by tattoos he'd seen online and asked Ant Payne-Wright – the owner of Liberty Ink Tattoo – for help to create the question on his body.
The dad-of-three slipped the gold and pear-shaped diamond ring onto her finger. She then inked a tick into the 'yes' box.
Would have been very awkward if she said no!
A man who was furious at a continued car horn being sounded was left in stitches when he realised what was actually making the noise.
The man had been trying to sleep when the honking started going off, so went out to investigate. Going over to the shop opposite his home, he found the loud car and looked through the window.
Writing on Reddit, he said: "This SHOULD be super frustrating when I'm trying to snooze in bed but, as it's a dog left in the car beeping the horn and it's super cute, I can't bring myself to be annoyed at all!"

A woman claims her grandmother’s 'supernatural encounter' in the 60s led to her saving the life of her auntie when she was just a baby. After revealing her grandma had lived in a haunted apartment for a short while when her father was young and her aunty had just been born, she told how she had noticed a lot of 'weird things' occurring in the house, but never felt 'threatened or scared'.

However, one night, while everyone was asleep, and her husband (the girl’s grandfather) was out, her grandma said she heard her name being called, with the calling becoming louder and louder: “The second time, the voice also said: “Check the baby,” the woman said. Her grandma admitted that this prompted her to run and check on the baby, only to find her newborn had managed to wrap the blanket around her neck and was starting to choke.

Sharing the story on Reddit, she writes: “This was back in the late 60s before anyone knew that blankets were causing infant deaths. They saved my aunt’s life that night – whoever ‘they’ are.

Telling her spooky story on Reddit prompted many readers to recall their own supernatural encounters, while many were shocked at her own tale: “Wow. She had a guardian angel. Very cool,” said one, while another commented: “That was the hand of God.”

This photo shows Brits enjoying some respite during World War II – but it also contains a strange anomaly that people insist might just be "proof" of time travel. One man appears to be out of place among other sunbathers in Cornwall in 1943. Dressed in brown he is engrossed in what looks like a smartphone from today's era – despite no mobiles being available at the time.
The quirky photograph, taken on Towan Beach in Newquay, now has social media watchers convinced it shows proof of time travel .
The Express reports one social media user who sparked a debate when he asked: "Er…is it just me or is this guy checking his phone…..in the 1940s?" And another commenter said: "Good catch. It's clearly the man in the shot is a time travelling tourist checking his mobile device." Sceptics, however, dismissed the bizarre theory as "nonsensical". One social media user disagreed with the "time travelling" theory and suggested: "I think that chap is rolling a cigarette!"
