How to bet Sunday's men's Elite Eight games
The Elite Eight continues with two more games on Sunday in the men’s NCAA tournament. So what are the bets to make?
Experts Jeff Borzello, Dalen Cuff and Tyler Fulghum offer the ones they like most.
Duke vs. NC State UNDER 143.5 (-115). Duke has gone under in four straight games and 12 of its past 14 contests, while the two previous meetings between these two teams also went under — and would have also gone under 143.5. Neither team plays particularly fast, and it could be a tighter game with the Final Four on the line. Both teams play through their bigs, meaning we’re likely headed for a slower-paced game. — Borzello
Duke -6.5 vs. NC State (-120). NC State is everyone’s darling because it has won eight straight games, six as an underdog. That’s made people a lot of money, but it’s also inflated its price. This line should be closer to -8.5. The value is on Duke. — Fulghum
Tennessee (+140) vs. Purdue. The key to Purdue is slowing down Zach Edey but the key to doing that is impacting the Purdue guards. Tennessee has the defensive ability to get into the Boilers guards, make them struggle and make it hard to feed Edey. Couple that defense with a dynamic offense led by Dalton Knecht, who is one of the best wing scorers in the country. The experience Tennessee had playing Purdue in November will help. Vols move on to the Final Four. — Cuff
Tennessee vs. Purdue UNDER 147.5 (-115). Tennessee has a top-20 defense and Purdue doesn’t want to play particularly fast. Edey in the post and Knecht in the half court will be fun and entertaining, but it won’t lead to a shootout. — Fulghum
