Nando’s fans have been left scratching their heads as the company launch new napkins printed with mind-boggling riddles – all the answers are inside the peri-peri chicken eatery’s menu
Peri-peri chicken lovers have been left bemused recently after Nando's released a new range of napkins.
Customers have been left baffled as the chicken restaurant company have printed mind-boggling riddles on each napkin. Fans took to social media recently to share their confusion while enjoying their latest meals – it's certainly a fun game to enjoy while you wait for your order.
It comes after pictures of the new napkins were shared by the company on Instagram. One of the napkins reads 'pear eyes old ted chirpse', another says 'fear nope eater', and a third says 'hello mystique sand deep'. All of the riddles reference popular menu items at Nando's but even regulars have been left scratching their heads. Can you work out what they mean?
Nando's asked: "What you saying?" and confused fans of the chain restaurant shared their thoughts. One individual said: "Uhhhh Nando's, what?" Another said: "I work at Nando's and was trying to solve this for house." "Peri salted chips," one guessed.
One clever person figured out that the printed writing on the napkin refers to three of the restaurant's most popular dishes. Working it out, they said: "Peri salted chips, fino pitta plus halloumi sticks and dip." "You solve it," added another.
'Fear nope eater' refers to the popular Fino Pitta, while 'pear eyes old ted chirpse' refers to the iconic peri salted chips. The eatery also included a reference to the halloumi sticks and chill jam dip with the 'hello mystique and deep' riddle. How long did it take you to solve them?
Recently, Nando's confirmed it is shaking up its reward scheme – you can now get a free half chicken. If you spend more than £20 between now and April 14 and are signed up to the Nando's Rewards loyalty scheme you can get the freebie with the Orange Award to use between April 29 and May 12.
