A person in Louisiana is hospitalized with the first severe case of bird flu in the U.S. They’re in critical condition with severe respiratory symptoms
Ducks with bird flu also known as poultry flu are collected and put in a container on Pommernhof in Zarnewanz near Rostock, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on November 28, 2024 in Zarnewanz, Germany. Over 13 000 ducks are being killed here because the H5N1 virus has been detected in the animals. This Is already the second outbreak of bird flu in this farm this year. The virus was presumably transmitted by collar crabs.
