Reddit sleuths think a Chiefs super-fan is also a famous bank robber
Reddit sleuths think a Chiefs super-fan is also a famous bank robber.
Reddit always gets to the bottom of the story.
A rumor began circulating around Chiefs’ Twitter that a super fan known as “Chiefsaholic” was arrested for robbing banks in the same mask he wore to support his team.
But only some of that is true.
The Reddit post started out as a worried fan wondering why hadn’t showed up to the last game (which should show you how big of a staple he really is).
“Chiefs fan known as ‘chiefsaholic’ who is usually very active on social media, especially on gameday, hasn’t been seen or heard from in 3 days,” the poster wrote. “He likely had a ticket to attend the Texans game but wasn’t spotted in attendance, if anyone has seen him or is able to help then please do your thing Chiefs Kingdom.”
That’s when social media got to work.
We’re going to leave his legal name out of this for his privacy.
Kyle Ayers shared several photos comparing a wolf-mask-wearing bank robber and the fan, but then later clarified the photos of the man in the wolf mask was not the fan though he was arrested for bank robbery.
Other fans shared screenshots of his past social media experience which shows hits at what he would later be arrested for.
And someone even got a copy of the arrest report.
This whole thing would be kind of hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.
