Super Bowl 2023 kicker field goal prop bets and predictions for Chiefs vs. Eagles

There are a limitless amount of different bets you can place on the Super Bowl.

One type of bet that you may not have thought of yet, is the performance of the two kickers.

That’s right, we’re going to be betting on the two kickers at Super Bowl 57, Jake Elliott of the Philadelphia Eagles and Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs

Let’s dive into those plays and see if we can find some value.

Super Bowl 57 kicker props

  • UNDER 3.5 total field goals made
  • Exactly 2 field goals made

UNDER 3.5 total field goals made

With the total for field goals made set at 3.5, I love the UNDER.

For over three field goals to be made in a game, we usually would need teams to stall in the red zone. I don’t think that’s going to happen on Sunday.

The Chiefs and the Eagles boast two of the top three red zone offenses in the NFL. The Chiefs score a touchdown on 71.43% of their red zone trips and the Eagles score on 68.57% of their red zone trips.

Not only that, but the Chiefs red zone defense has been terrible this year. In fact, they rank 30th in the league in opponent red zone touchdown scoring percentage, allowing a touchdown on 65.57% of opponents red zone trips.

Two great red zone offenses and one terrible red zone defense leads me to believe we’re going to see more touchdowns than field goals at Super Bowl 57.

Exactly 2 field goals made

If you want to get even more aggressive with your bet, you can also bet on exactly how many field goals are going to be made. I’ll take a shot at exactly two field goals made at the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs are averaging 1.5 made field goals per game, while the Eagles are averaging 1.3. That mark by Philadelphia is the second lowest in the NFL.

As I stated above, the effectiveness of both teams in the red zone is a huge factor for that. Meanwhile, their two defenses allow 1.2 and 1.4 field goals per game, the second and seventh fewest in the NFL.

I think betting on exactly two field goals being made is the bet to make at the Super Bowl.
