Will Levis continues to shoot up 2023 NFL Draft odds
University of Kentucky quarterback, Will Levis, is starting to fly up the odds for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, going as high as +550 at DraftKings Sportsbook and moving to +750 at BetMGM.
Levis, Bryce Young and CJ Stroud are the three prized quarterbacks in this year’s draft class, and it’s possible he could end up at No. 1 if the Chicago Bears trade the pick to a team that is in love with Levis.
Chicago, if it decides to keep rolling with Justin Fields after his strong sophomore season, could trade the No. 1 pick to accumulate some more assets since it may not need a quarterback.
The Houston Texas (No. 2), Indianapolis Colts (No. 4), Seattle Seahawks (No. 5), Atlanta Falcons (No. 8) and Carolina Panthers (No. 9) could all be in the conversation to move up to No. 1.
With the movement on Levis, he’s still behind Young and Stroud in the latest odds, but the gap is closing.
Odds to be No. 1 pick in 2023 NFL Draft
Where will Will Levis get drafted?
Even though Levis is moving up in the latest odds, he’s still likely to be the third quarterback selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Levis’ landing spot could depend on where Derek Carr and Aaron Rodgers end up, as they could take away a team like the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets or others.
My prediction is that Levis ends up with the Indianapolis Colts, as I can’t see the Houston Texans letting their favorite quarterback slip past them since they have the No. 2 pick.
Things could change in this market significantly if the Bears make a trade, especially if that team is linked to a certain passer. For now, I wouldn’t be too sold on Levis going No. 1 over Young or Stroud.
