Khloé Kardashian Has ‘Set Boundaries’ and ‘Isn't in Love’ With Tristan Thompson Despite His Pursuing Her
Tristan Thompson is still trying to win back Khloé Kardashian, his ex-girlfriend and mother of two of his children, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that Kardashian isn’t falling for it.
A source explained that Kardashian is prioritizing herself and is not in love with Thompson like that. “[She] is in a good place and has set boundaries with Tristan,” the source said. “Tristan will always be in Khloe’s life, but she isn’t in love with him. She chooses to be supportive, both publicly and privately, for the sake of their children.”
Kardashian has healed to the point where she “can finally talk about what he has put her through without being emotional,” the source added. (Thompson most recently drew controversy and sparked their most recent breakup after he cheated on Kardashian and fathered a child with a personal trainer while he and Kardashian were secretly engaged.)
“Khloe has the biggest heart and sometimes that is her downfall,” the source said. “She is forgiving, loves with everything she has, and is so loyal, but she is focused on co-parenting and taking care of herself right now.”
The source’s update comes after Us Weekly reported yesterday that Thompson still wants to get back with Kardashian. A source told Us, “Tristan is always trying to get Khloé back, he still loves her and wants to make it work between them. They’re friends and great coparents, but he wants more.”
It also comes after Kardashian posted a birthday tribute to Thompson, raving about him as a father. She disabled comments on the post, and a source told Us that she and Thompson are not dating.
In the tribute, Kardashian wrote, “Happy birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles. My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”
