DE Rousseau signs 4-year extension with Bills
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills continued a trend of signing their own draft picks to extensions, signing defensive end Greg Rousseau to a four-year extension on Saturday.
The $80 million extension includes $54 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Rousseau, a 2021 first-round draft pick by the Bills, was set to play on his fifth-year option. Instead, the deal keeps him with the team through 2029. Rousseau, who turns 25 on April 5, joins wide receiver Khalil Shakir and linebacker Terrel Bernard as Bills draft picks to agree to extensions with the team through 2029 in the last two weeks.
In his four seasons with the Bills, Rousseau has 25 sacks, 15 passes defensed and 66 quarterback hits.
